Bodegas Altanza is a contemporary Spanish winery with a passion for Rioja‟s native grape variety – Tempranillo. Located in Fuenmayor, in the heart of Rioja Alta, Bodegas Altanza controls over 120 hectares of gnarly, dry grown bush vines. Yields are low with these little gems producing an average of less than 1.5kg per vine, well below the Appelation limit in Rioja.
